This is the story of a Woman Police
Officer, Angela Crossley, and her experiences with Connie Rowden, a young
psychic girl who has a vision that enables her to lead the Police to the burial
site of a Paedophile Serial killer's young female victims. Seven bodies are
recovered from a septic tank deep in the woods, including the little girl the
police have been searching for. Unfortunately, Connie suffers a mental collapse
as a result of the horrific discovery, and is hospitalised in a psychiatric
unit for a number of years. The killer remains at large.
When Angie returns from University she is promoted to Detective Sergeant at the
young age of twenty-four. The killer from four years earlier has never been
apprehended, but the Psychiatrist caring for Connie, a Doctor Paul Simmons,
informs Angie that does not mean the killing of children will have stopped
The story continues with the intensifying pursuit of a vicious psychopath, whom
Connie has terrifying visions of from time to time; something tells her the
killer is familiar from somewhere in her past, but her loss of memory prevents
her from identifying him. Further children go missing and the story culminates
in a nightmarish scene in the cellar of a house where the killer lives, when
Connie finally comes face to face with her tormentor. The terrible consequences
that follow have a devastating affect upon the lives of everyone involved.
Reviews
An Intriguing read to find out in each chapter what happens next with Angela crossley and her Friend Connie.
This book tells a story of friendship and a bond that is sincere, caring and protective. It gives a racy encounter of the deep seated mind games that have been played for many years.
The Suspense was gripping.

I have been reading many, many proofs and copies of the books published in recent years. As you know, the majority of them are crime books. I am fed up with them and I do not finish a lot of them . I have finished Nemesis. The subject is cruel and horrible, I do not like that, but there is something in it that is dragging you through it. The characters are very human.

Overall I enjoyed the book more than I expected (given the front cover) and could relate/care about the characters and was interested in the relationships. The ending was good that you could see there was life after the event and how Jim and Angela had drifted apart and her ambitions for FBI etc.

P.C. Angela Crossley’s first case turns out to be different from the usual run of murder investigations. As she becomes more involved with the psychic, Connie Rowden and the death toll mounts, despite Connie’s visions, the serial killer remains more than one step ahead. Angela and Connie develop a close and lasting friendship as their co-operative quest to apprehend the monster takes over their lives. They both eventually pay a heavy price for their part in the macabre drama that draws them inextricably to its epicentre.
This is a well-crafted psychological thriller that compels the reader to keep turning the pages until the horrifying finale.
- Ann Oughton
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and believe that it should do extremely well in the market place. It is a very original concept which I think is sadly lacking these days in this genre.
- David Clancy
I have only read a part of it and find it written in a lucid but compelling style.

Time to be completely honest, I bought the book for my Husband who is a real fan of the horror/thriller genre. I am happy to report that he is currently reading the book and loves it. He is completely hooked and thinks it is one of the best books he has read in a long time.
Thank you again for the book.

very interesting, very professional, written very well, would make a good movie.
Shocking, horrific but very true to our sickening modern world. Realistic
heroines in the psychic young girl and inexperienced but determined
policewoman. Overall a great read.

I thought it was a very interesting book to say the least. It was a good read, shocking.
It is good to be exposed to new material like that from time to time. Being a reader I really enjoyed it. Would not have read it otherwise.

This was a very emotional read for me partly because of the nature of the subject, but also because of the suspenseful way in which the plot moved along. I found myself being drawn closely into the story and the way in which PC Crossley tackled the problems of finding the killer.
It was a fine and exciting read, I was pleased to have the opportunity to tackle this one.

GRIPPING!
I have just started, but my partner thought it was great. He also said it was somewhat chilling...in this case a good a thing!
