Everybody's book is different so M-Y offers a range of additional services that can help authors or publishers to fully realise the potential of their work. The particular kind of additional activity that’s appropriate depends on the nature of the book but in our experience the following are very beneficial:

Book Trade Advertising

By taking advertising space inside the main trade journals, supplements and guides, including those published by the main wholesalers, the author or small publisher can make an impression on the retail trade, and on book buyers, both in fiction and non fiction. M-Y Books offer a one-stop service where the artwork, copywriting and design are all taken care. If you wish, we’ll also handle the placement of the advertisement with the agreed media. We will, of course, agree a budget in advance as well as the precise text to be used and any design work needed.

Internet Advertising

The web tends to be a complex and often-unresponsive place to advertise - but there are occasional exceptions. We have narrowed the confusing range of sites down to those that work best for your books. In short, the ones we recommend can get your books known and - where they offer e-commerce - get them sold!
